This chapter is for looking things up. You don’t need to read it from start to finish. Come here when a word or a status on screen is new to you, when a button or menu item is missing, or when something doesn’t work as you expect.

Everyone: employees, managers, CEOs and platform administrators. Each page covers the whole of VirgilTrack, and links to the chapter that explains a screen in full.

  • Glossary: the words VirgilTrack uses, such as likelihood, control, KPI, initiative and weekly check-in, each explained in a sentence or two.
  • Statuses and labels: what each status, badge and group means, for risks, controls, tasks, KPIs, plans, budgets, reports and calendar tasks.
  • Who can do what: who can see and do what, role by role, from the menu to the buttons on each screen.
  • Frequently asked questions: short answers to the questions new users ask most.
  • Troubleshooting: what to do when you can’t sign in, a page is missing, a message appears or an email doesn’t arrive.
  • Keyboard shortcuts: keys that open Virgil Copilot and the quick bar, send messages and move faster through VirgilTrack and this manual.
  • Your data and privacy: who can see your check-ins, reports, mailbox findings, Copilot conversations, chats, sign-ins and work record, and what leaves VirgilTrack.
  • Known limitations: buttons and settings that don’t work yet in this version, and what to do instead.
  • What’s new: what this edition of the manual covers, and what changes from one edition to the next.
  • Search this manual. Press / or Ctrl + K on any page of this manual and type what you see on screen. See How to use this manual.
  • Ask Virgil. Inside VirgilTrack, press Ctrl + K (Cmd + K on a Mac) to open Virgil Copilot and ask in your own words. See AI assistant.
  • Check your role. Many “missing” buttons are about your role. See Roles and what each can do.
