AI assistant
Hierdie inhoud is nog nie in jou taal beskikbaar nie.
Virgil Copilot is the assistant built into VirgilTrack. Ask it about your work, your team or the strategy in your own words, or tell it what to do. It looks things up for you, prepares changes, and makes them only when you confirm.
Who uses it
Section titled “Who uses it”Everyone. Once you have signed in, Virgil Copilot is on every page, for employees, managers, the CEO and administrators. It works as you: it can only see and change what your own role lets you see and change.
Some things are only for some roles. For example, only managers and the CEO can ask about their team’s reports, and only the CEO can have Virgil compile the monthly report. See What Virgil can do.
Ways to open it
Section titled “Ways to open it”| How | What happens |

The main ideas
Section titled “The main ideas”It asks before it changes anything. Virgil shows every change as a card marked Needs your OK. Nothing happens until you select Confirm. The one exception is a mobile number: when you give Virgil the code VirgilTrack sent you, it verifies the number straight away. See Confirm what Virgil prepares.
It knows where you are. The top of the panel says which page you are on, for example “Looking at: Tasks”. Its suggestions change with the page, and “this task” or “here” means the one on your screen.
It shows its work. While Virgil works, the panel lists each step, such as “Checking your tasks…”. Afterwards a line above the answer says what it looked at, for example “Worked for 4.2 s: checked your tasks (6 tasks)”.
It answers from VirgilTrack. Virgil looks up your tasks, reports, risks and strategy rather than guessing. If it finds nothing, it says so.
It keeps your conversations. You can come back to an earlier conversation, search it, pin it or delete it. Your conversations are yours alone. See Your saved conversations.
It writes plain English for Namibia. Virgil is asked to use short sentences, British spelling, N$ for money and the 24-hour clock. It tries to understand words people mix in from Oshiwambo, Afrikaans, Otjiherero, Nama/Damara, Silozi or German. If you write a whole message in another language, it answers in that language.
Rules Virgil follows
Section titled “Rules Virgil follows”Virgil is given these rules every time you ask something. Like any AI, it can still get things wrong, so check what matters.
- It makes changes only through a card you confirm (apart from verifying your mobile number with the code you were sent).
- It never asks for your password, and tells you not to type one in the chat. Passwords are changed in Settings. See Your profile and sign-in details.
- It doesn’t submit your weekly report, delete anything, change someone else’s report, or change people’s accounts, roles and permissions.
- It doesn’t promise anything for your organisation, such as approvals, money or exceptions, and it doesn’t state your organisation’s policies unless VirgilTrack has them.
- It doesn’t guess how people feel, and it never describes a colleague’s mood from their reports or messages.
- When you ask for something VirgilTrack can’t do yet, it says so and passes your request on to the VirgilTrack team.
Pages in this chapter

- Confirm what Virgil prepares: how the Needs your OK cards work.
- Ask Virgil where something is: directions, and Show me where on your own screen.
