A dashboard is a one-page summary of what matters to you. It brings together figures and lists from other parts of VirgilTrack, such as your risks, controls, reviews and weekly reports, so you can see at a glance where things stand.
Which dashboard you see
Section titled “Which dashboard you see”Everyone opens their dashboard with Dashboard, the first item in the menu on the left. Which dashboard opens depends on your role.
| Your role | Your dashboard | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Employee | Manager Dashboard | Your department’s risks, and the reviews and controls that are yours. |
| Manager | Manager Dashboard | Your department’s risks, reviews and controls. |
| CEO | CEO Dashboard | The whole organisation: departments, people, risks, money at risk and weekly reports. |
| Administrator | Admin Dashboard | A link to the demo links page. |
Employees and managers share the same screen, called Manager Dashboard. Only one card, What’s up Today, shows an employee less than a manager. See The Manager Dashboard.
Open your dashboard
Section titled “Open your dashboard”-
Select Dashboard at the top of the menu on the left.
Your dashboard opens. Its name appears in the header at the top of the page.
-
Wait a moment while the cards load. Grey placeholder shapes show where a card is still loading.
When you sign in, the CEO and administrators land on their dashboard. Managers and employees land on the Risk Register: select Dashboard in the menu to open the dashboard. See Sign in and sign out.
What’s on each dashboard
Section titled “What’s on each dashboard”| Card | Manager Dashboard | CEO Dashboard |

Main ideas
Section titled “Main ideas”- The figures are worked out when the dashboard opens. They don’t change while you look at them. To see the latest figures, reload the page in your browser. Selecting Dashboard while the dashboard is already open doesn’t update it.
- Your role decides the scope. The CEO sees the whole organisation. Managers and employees see their own department, and What’s up Today shows employees only their own work.
- “Mitigated” means marked with Mark as mitigated. A risk counts as mitigated once someone selects Mark as mitigated on the risk’s page or in the risk register. A risk that is archived, or moved to Mitigated on the Kanban board, still counts in figures such as Risk Exposure. See The risk register.
- Report buttons take you to the reports. PDF Report, Report Center, Get Report and Generate Reports all open the Generate Reports page. See Make a risk report.
- Money is in Namibian dollars. Large amounts are shortened: “K” means thousands and “M” means millions, so 2.5M is N$ 2,500,000.
The Admin Dashboard
Section titled “The Admin Dashboard”Wie kan dit gebruik:Administrateur
The Admin Dashboard is a simple page for platform staff. Its Manage Demos link opens the demo links page. Administrators do most of their work from Organizations, Users and Sign Ups in the menu. See Platform administration and Demo links.
The page’s Admin Index heading and get db path button are not for everyday use, and, in the bar under the header, the Search Risk box and the Add a team member and Enable grid view buttons don’t do anything yet. See Known limitations.
